Baranen is hosted in the land of vikings, reindeers, aurora borealis
and cute blonde girls. Sweden that is. The music stream which is called Bazzanen is playing my favourite rock/metal tunes. It first started when I wanted to listen to my music from work. I forgot to make the stream private and woops. I was not alone in the dark. From the old days to the present. We aren’t the biggest, hardest or coolest. What we are is just right.

Beer!!
It has happen again. You know what I mean, a beer
delivery. The gentleman was Mr. Bernhard. This was his
seconded time. The butterflies in my stomach started to come
to life when Bernhard talked about ship over some beer. I
got e-mail from him with links etc where I could see status
of the transport (I never was able to see where the shipment
was but Bernhard updated me). Then on the 2008-07-28 a note from
the postoffice was in my mail. Jumped in my car and head for
the postoffice. Sign a piece of paper and the parcel was
mine. Damn, it was fairly heavy.. just like heavy metal. I
Got anxiety when I was holding the parcel. It was moist at
the bottom. Immediately I started to think that Gestapo has
been there.. again. When I come home I careful open the
parcel. How many bottles had we lost in the battle? Not a
single one! Bernhard, your are the King. 20 bottles.. that’s
crazy!
Don’t know if I can thank you enough Bernhard? But many
thanks and hope you understand my appreciation!!
Oh Yes, the beer "Augustiner" ( I got 10 of them) is just like heaven! Trust me on this one! =)

AC/DC
The band AC/DC I guess you
never heard about? Yeah right! So no long explanation about
the band or why I will play these two Live albums. The first
one is quite old, from 1979. They are some shitty old farts.
The second album will be Live (Special Collector's Edition).
Think it’s from 1992, or the songs anyway. Let me know if

Mercenary, one of my favorite bands these
days. Well they have been for some time. Now it’s time for

music I thought.. Oh man when is the grooving coming? It’s
that kind of music. But no groove. That I like!!

Iron Maiden Live at Stockholm
Stadium (2000), that’s our new event. Don’t believe that
many have heard this one. It’s still the same old songs so
no surprise there. But instead of “Live At Rock In Rio” that
most of us have heard.. why not ;)
And this time I will make it a double. You can also hear In
Flames live (2004).

P3 so you
will hear some Swedish talking. Especially the intro to In

Angeles
Have
been a while but now it’s time for a band that are from my
home town. You guys that shipped over beer know the name. I
guess you all have many things to do now in the spring and
everything. I know I have lot of things to do. I also think
Bernhard (Mr. nr 4) is having “stuff” to do. Gixxer is like
wet beaver on his motorcycle and Simon & Skjaldar..the lady's
have to watch out this spring? ;)
Anyway, came home after work. Open a bottle of Gotlands
Wisby Weisse beer and though it was time for a new “event”.

2008-03-21 Nightrage - A New
Disease Is Born
During
server hickups yesterday I feel that I need something..
different. You probably already know that I’m not a big fan
of deathmetal. But once in a while there is a good album out
there. Perhaps more Melodic Death Metal but anyway ;) So
here it is. The Swedish/Greek band “Nightrage” with the
album “A New Disease Is Born”. I usefully only listen to
this kind of music when I’m mad to the bone and driving
around my car.

Had some major problem with
the server today. I thought a normal reboot would fix
things.. Hell no. After my reboot the pc rebooted by itself
all the time. Booted the pc on my Ubuntu cd.. couldn’t read
the partitions of the harddrive.. fuck me!
Installed Windows on another harddrive and run a chkdsk on
the bad bastard.. many bad blocks etc but now I could read
from it. Fast as hell I copied the database for the music
stream (me and backup don’t go together). Then I cloned the
disc to another one. Thought I was safe. But no, now windows
booted just fine but after I logged on I was automatically
logged off.. So after trying to find a solution I tried to
clone the disc with Norton Ghost. It did the trick!
Hallelujah! The final step was the database, the “service”
and database was corrupt. Had to restore the database from
2008-03-17.
So now you bastards know what I have been doing today.
And yes, will try to make a backup once in a while ;)

you have it. My youth idols nr 1 big time. Still going very
strong. So don’t forget to put up the volume a little extra

extremely many “Squirt-paint-toilet” songs. That means.. (f-word!)
good songs. Don’t forget about Udo’s solo career. He is a
made little German!

It has happen again. Got
an e-mail from the gentleman Simon. Beer delivery was on the
way! I immediately started to feel worried about the
beer-transport. Would all the bottles make it this time? You
presumably already know what I think about the Swedish
post-office, tax-department or Gestapo. But then Simon
started to talk about a personally delivery.
His
sister and her husband would come over and deliver the beer.
Isn’t that luxury? =) Talked over the phone and agreed on a
time/date they would come over. * Ring on the door * We sat
down in the living room and talked. I almost have bad
conscience now afterwards, didn’t offer them anything. But
they where going to some party and I was going away for some
“beer-drinking party” so I hope they didn’t get wrong
impression. So now I know all the dirty little secrets about
you Simon... heheh just kidding.
You know what I will say now… THANK YOU Simon & Skjaldar! Will enjoy
the beer... next weekend is my big plan. And give your
sister and her husband a big hello and thank you from me. It
was really appreciated with a personally delivery. Simon,
your UFO album is in playlist since a few days ago. If you or Skjaldar
want me to add anything more let me know. It’s best to get
it done now right after the delivery when I’m all “soft”

Oh boy! The second time for me to head to the postoffice..
beer delivery! Sweet!. This time Gixxer was the gentleman.
The question was, have Gestapo or the Swedish tax-department
smashed all the beers?
The packed looked just fine. Came home and started to open
it. When I open the plastic bag inside the cardboard box I
could smell beer. Damn they were here as well! But
“fortunately” it was only one bottle. So 5 out of 6. Don’t
know what to say gixxer beside many.. many thanks!
Oh yes, added Edge Of Sanity - Crimson II. It will be played
every Sunday at 21:00.
2007-09-30 Al Bundy
Just a little reminder so
you don’t forget about one of my idols. You see him when you
are making your requests. Al bundy. If it wasn’t for him my
view on woman would be all .. cranky. Perhaps I should add
“Psycho dad” to the playlist?
2007-09-29 Beer delivery
The expectation was high.
Walked to the postoffice. The package from Bernhard would be
picked out. The packed was bit damage and a sticker from the
Swedish postoffice said
“Your package has been damage during the delivery, we are sorry.. blalala”
(But I still think it was the Swedish tax-division or
Gestapo that smashed the package)
I rushed home and open the package. It smells like beer,
fragment of glass. I’m not so happy anymore. But aha, the
second one is still intact. Oh yeah baby! Will get some
tonight. And now we are talking about pure love.. beer..
