Baranen is hosted in the land of vikings, reindeers, aurora borealis
and cute blonde girls. Sweden that is. The music stream which is called Baranen is playing my favourite rock/metal tunes. It first started when I wanted to listen to my music from work. I forgot to make the stream private and woops. I was not alone in the dark. From the old days to the present. We aren’t the biggest, hardest or coolest. What we are is just right.

2010-08-17 The Majster & Gixxer gathering
It all started with an e-mail. Mr. Gixxer was going on a vacation to Sweden and made sure he could drop by. So when the day was here (2010-08-16) he sends me a text message that they was on the way. Later that afternoon he gave me a call and told me he was at the parking lot. I took the dog and meet them.
There he (The almighty Gixxer) was with his girlfriend + girlfriend’s sister and her boyfriend. Gixxer told me I would get some beer... but not 3 crates that he picked out from the car. That’s crazy Gixxer! I only gave Gixxer 1 crate (almost) of Swedish beer. Shame on me! Anyway in to the apartment we went. We eat some pie and salad and talked. Later on Gixxer took the control of my mp3 library and music videos. Think only Gixxer and I enjoyed that? ;) Also offer some Swedish delicacies like ”påskmust” and snuff. Was nice to see Gixxer become a man when he put the snuff under his lip.
Later that evening they said goodbye and headed to the camp area where they should stay for the night. I just want to say thank you so much for coming Gixxer and you are always welcome back! =)

2010-07-24 Roky Erickson
It’s summer and my vacation just started! :-)
Time to enjoy myself with enjoyments like... sleeping late. At least to 08:00 in the morning. Strolling around and making my hometown uncertain, consume large amounts of beer. But what about you guys... think you need something “new” too listen to. Well here you have “Roky Erickson and The Aliens - The evil one” that you can listen to the date below. It’s a great cd to listen to in the car (or in front of the computer). Classics songs like Bloody Hammer, Two Headed Dog, I Walked With A Zombie, It's A Cold Night For Alligators and so on.

2010-01-28 German delicacy
Received an email from Urmel. This gentleman told me to hold my hat and await a parcel.
Not exactly those words but almost. Didn’t know what to expect. But I know it wasn’t chocolate. Received the ordinary Swedish postoffice note that I had a parcel to pick out. The time was not my best friend so the parcel had to wait at the postoffice 2 days extra. Anyway, when I picket it out the employee looked at me at a strange way. Think he knew what it was ;)
Come home and open it… you know what I think about smashing Gestapo officers. Well I can tell you bastards this much. Urmel did wrap the beer bottles in an exemplary way. The all mad it. Even the two small Underberg that are good for your stomach the day after + they are tasty!
Just want to say thanks “Mr. Hero Urmel”. It’s really appreciated and I will enjoy the very best of Germany! Skååål!!
2010-01-26 Rocky show
Rocky is an old Baranen visitor that first now has his own show here at metropolis Baranen.

Times goes so fast. Not many days until New Year. Every second is of infinite value.
So why not have an "ego trip show" by myself? For myself and you guys. Like the last time it's so hard to pick the songs that are on your mind in this very second.
But I manage this time as well. From an enormous playlist to a bit more handy one (21 songs). I have one song from my old playlist that I will start the new show with... Decembernight by Gypsy Rose.
Well it's December and everything so I guess that's okay. My ego trip show will be played at...

2009-10-24 Hardware swap – Behind the scenes.
Okidoki, the hardware swap is done. My old laptop that we have been depending on for some time is shutdown/game over. My new Asrock that I mention before have been running Baranen for some time now. Hope you didn’t noticed a to big glitch. The new computer was the final step in my “upgrade”. The other one was my Synology NAS that I bought before (5X1TB disk holding on to the juice).
To polish things up I’m just waiting until next year when I will change internet provider… 10/100 Mbit/s. Finally the waiting is over got damit!
I hope that these things together will put Baranen online for a few more years if nothing unexpected arises.
2009-10-05 Going offline later this week.
They will do something with the electricity in my apartment/house during these two days below. During this time (2009-10-07 and 2009-10-08) I will shutdown the website and musicstream...
Now you know.
2009-09-30 Hardware upgrade
I have invested some money in a new hardware that will run ”Baranen”. This little bugger below will replace my old laptop that I have now. The plan is to do the swap sometime soon... or at least during October month. Asrock is the name of the computerbrand. Small and low power consumption. That I like. So if the music-stream drops in a near future you know what I’m doing.
2009-09-20 Motörhead - No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith
What will happen to the rockworld when the big old farts leave the stage?
That’s unsure. Can’t see any “new” band taking over and wear that big costume. But I don’t have too worry about that until Lemmy leaves the stage.
I think it was good that Lemmy was fired from the band Hawkwind so he could start the new band Bastard (later called Motörhead)
So… time for some real Rock'n'roll at the dates and times below with Motörhead's best live album... “No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith”.
